Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a nostalgic book for many young adults. We want to bring that warmth of nostalgia back to the stage with a summer camp setting. Visually playful for the audience and something playable and climbable for the actors.
Combining Greek elements with elements of the outdoors will further set the scene. We want to appreciate the traditional use of color on any marble to bring more of the fun nature of Camp Halfblood.
